Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK) — Privacy Notice
1. Data Controller
Under Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“KVKK”), your personal data may be processed, as the data controller, by DentVisit Ağız ve Diş Sağlığı Kliniği (hereinafter referred to as the “Clinic”) for the purposes described below.

2. Personal Data Processed
The following categories of personal data are processed by our Clinic:
- Identity information: First name, last name, date of birth, Turkish national ID number (where legally required)
- Contact information: Phone number, email address, residential address
- Health information: Medical history, current conditions, medication use, dental examination and treatment records, X-ray images, treatment plans
- Appointment information: Appointment date and time, preferred dentist, treatment request
- Communication records: Messages and attachments sent via WhatsApp, email, or phone
3. Purposes of Processing Personal Data
Your personal data is processed for the following purposes:
- Creating, managing, and confirming appointments
- Clinical examination, diagnosis, and treatment planning
- Informing patients before and after treatment
- Fulfilling legal obligations (e.g., Ministry of Health notifications)
- Measuring patient satisfaction and improving service quality
- Emergency communication
- Carrying out invoicing and payment processes
4. Transfer of Personal Data
Your personal data may be shared, within the framework of legal obligations, with relevant public institutions and organizations (the Ministry of Health, social security institutions), with other healthcare providers you have been referred by, and with technical infrastructure providers (only to the minimum extent necessary). Your health data is never shared with third-party commercial organizations.
5. Retention Period of Personal Data
Your health records are retained for at least 10 years from the treatment date, in accordance with applicable legislation. Communication and appointment records are deleted or anonymized within 2 years of completion of the relevant transaction, subject to mandatory legal retention obligations.
6. Your Rights
Under Article 11 of the KVKK, you have the following rights:
- Learn whether your personal data is being processed
- Request information about the processing, if your personal data has been processed
- Learn the purpose of processing and whether your data is used in accordance with that purpose
- Know the third parties, in Turkey or abroad, to whom your personal data has been transferred
- Request correction if your personal data has been processed incompletely or incorrectly
- Request deletion or destruction of your personal data under the conditions set out in Article 7 of the KVKK
- Request notification of the above correction and deletion actions to the third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred
- Object to a result that is to your detriment arising solely from the automated analysis of your processed data
- Claim compensation for damages arising from the unlawful processing of your personal data
